Forum url issue

I have an issue when I click on a thread and if it shows this type of url : http://www.steadicamforum.com/forums/index...view=getnewpost then it doesn't load, but http://www.steadicamforum.com/forums/index...?showtopic=2497 works fine - it's stupidly strange, perhaps a bug in the forum software? I'm using Firefox to view the forum.

Also the threads/posts stay unread unless you read them, quite annoying

Thank god for VBulletin.

[edit]

It did it straight after posting this - the page didn't load.

Strange...

Never had a problem, everything works fine...

The 2 links you've posted work fine on my computer.

By the way, I'm also using Firefox...

Try the "Mark all posts as read" link on the main page of the forum. It's on the bottom, just above the "Board statistics".

That should work...

Nils.

The ocurrence seems to happen more straight after making a post - likely will when I post this, I get a blank screen, then when I refresh, it still doesn't load - but when I'm on a working page and paste that link again, it works fine, not sure what it's all about.

I'm used to the new threads being shown as "read" after a period of time, it's just the way a different forum works, just think that seems to work better, but I can see the sense in leaving them unread until they are read, I think that's just more my personal preference.

Happy Christmas all!

Yep - it did it again, submit this thread and all I get it a blank screen, but not only that, when I came back to this thread again, I clicked the link from the index page, and got another blank screen!
