Christophe charrette
Hello everyone, I'm a "Steadi-Newbie" and I've got some problem to replace the cables/wires that are given with the Steadicam Pilot. The original cables have been seriously damaged and dont work anymore (i can upload some pictures if needed). I've found the list of accessories on tiffen's website (http://www.tiffen.com/userimages2/Steadicam/Steadicam_price_sheets_61614/PilotSD_List.pdf) but I dont know how to find them Thanks in advance for your help, Christophe Charrette. (sorry if my english is not perfect, it's not my native language).

Premium Members James Elias Posted October 29, 2016 Premium Members Report Share Posted October 29, 2016 Christophe - Call Robin at Tiffen above or Regis at Cartoni France and ask for a new Pilot wire harness. You won't find this on the price list. This will replace the cable running through the sled. You'll need to solder the top stage connections or send it in to Cartoni/Tiffen for service if you're unsure. I'm sure they will help. Robin will correct me if my memory is wrong. Good luck, James
