Premium Members brett.mayfield Posted May 27, 2017 Premium Members Report Share Posted May 27, 2017 hey yall im about to sell an OG preston 1: HU1, MDR1, etc. Someone asked if they can control iris with a single channel preston hand unit. im pretty sure that this is not possible, but does anyone know for sure? I know that there is a small iris wheel that can be hard wired to the HU1, but curious about wireless iris control. have a good one brett. The Single Channel controller can be made to work with G3, G4, and G4 blue dot systems, and only then within the same wireless generation. When I had a FIZ 2 I actually used a digital bartech as the iris controller. AFAIK there is no other way to do remote iris with the FIZ 1 or non-G3 HU2 other than the cabled remote.
