Premium Members Jon Myers Posted February 18, 2004 Premium Members Report Share Posted February 18, 2004 Well I just received my brand new Silver Spring arm last night (serial # 005). I'd have to say that it's quite nice. The first thing that you'll notice is different arm covers, they are nicely done in black and blue like the picture on thier website. The next thing that I noticed is that there is a bearing for the arm post. It's smoother than a 3a arm and gets you much closer to the PRO arm. I'd say that it bridges the gap there. If anyone has any specific questions write me here or offline. If anyone is interested in seeing it in the LA area give me a call.

Premium Members BJMcDonnell SOC Posted February 19, 2004 Premium Members Report Share Posted February 19, 2004 Yo Jon, I just posted a thing about the arm on the "Arms" section. Thanks again for bringing that arm down to the set. I can't wait for my arm from rig engineering to get here. For those of you still waiting, you are gonna love your new arm. Thanks again Jon. Ruben Sluijter
Out of curiosity, how long are you without an arm if you order one? Peace, Ruben "Armed and dangerous" Sluijter
Chip Monk
Out of curiosity, how long are you without an arm if you order one? Peace, Ruben "Armed and dangerous" Sluijter I'm not sure about other deals, but they are sending me one, and I send mine after I get theirs. I think that's how they are operating, so you are not without your arm. Chip
