Joe Perchard Posted August 12, 2017 Report Share Posted August 12, 2017 Hi everyone, I have a Yelangu S60T steadicam with a Nikon D5200 (18-55mm lens + Rode Videomicro). Premium Members Lawrence Karman Posted August 12, 2017 Premium Members Report Share Posted August 12, 2017 2 possibilities: Not familiar with that particular Steadicam but if you can, move the Gimbal towards the bottom. If not then add a weight plate under the camera to make the top heavier, or add any kind of weight to the top or remove weight from the bottom. All pretty obvious ideas to fix your issue. Xavier Mercado Posted August 25, 2017 Report Share Posted August 25, 2017 I had a recent shoot with a DSLR on my Steady Proline Raven. I ended up rigging up my monitor to the back of the camera with an articulating arm. This shifted the weight enough to give me a 2-second drop time. Hope this helps.
