Gnespolo,

Yes, the smaller section is a potentiometer. I once made the mistake of pulling a motor apart, looking for the screws that tighten it back in place. Well, it is more complicated then it seems, as you get into wiring that prevents you from pulling the motor out of its housing (if I'm remembering correctly; its been a while). In the end, it was more than just a loose potentiometer though; the motor needed a rebuild. I had Preston do it, here in the States. In your case, it probably makes as much sense to send it to Heden though (email Magnus at sales@heden-engineering.com).

Peter Abraham knows a lot about this stuff, so he might offer an idea or two when he passes through.

Good luck.

Hello again,

This motor was sold back in 1987 to PCS. After 17 years in

use it is most likely that the potentiometer is broken and

it must be replaced with a new one.

I have E-mailed you more details on how we can help you in

the best possible way!

Best regards,

Magnus

Guillermo:

Nos paso lo mismo. Vimos que para ajustar los 2 tornillos que unen el potenciometro al motor, hay que desarmarlo. No me anime y decidi pedir info a Suecia. En unos dias lo enviamos alla por FedEx.

Despues me contas que hiciste?

Saludos,

Gus.
