To test whether they need adjusting build you rig and put it on the balancing stud. Once you have achieved static balance spin the rig 180 and check to see that it is still in static balance. IF however when you spin it 180 and it loses balance then it means your gimbal is not right and that the screws need adjusting. I have had to do it twice, its important to do very small adjustments, its not so much about too tight or too lose. Hope that helps.
