My Bluetooth Tally system

When the last Steadicam workshop took place here in Sweden by Hofmann I talked a bit about my

Bluetooth tally system I have developed for television. I have finally put together a small site to show how it works.

http://www.montanjfilm.se/bluetooth/

I have specified a few of the key components with their product ID and they can be found

on http://www.elfa.se/

It started like a fun idea but turned out to be really great, and reliable.

I developed it for use on Steadicam but I didn´t want to use the internal wires in the EFP rig

because I didn´t want to be locked to just one rig. This solution can be easily adapted on cranes or

other broadcast equipment.

This is a very cool device. Well done.... May I recommend that you consider a simple photo sensor relay on your sender half, so that it will work with any camera's existing tally light. There are too many eye piece connector types out there. I think it would be a more marketable item.

I know Jim B is listening, Bluetooth zoom would be incredible. Or even better, just a Bluetooth relay for any zoom control.... A small sender at the zoom controller, and receiver at the lens. Like a dream.

Yep, i'll order one too. As for the zoomcontrol? I'll order that one too, make sure to give me a very good discount for the idea ;)
