Christian Ramirez-Coll 2 Report post Posted March 31, 2018 Hello everyone, I just want to compile a list of arm post sizes. Please add or correct me when I am wrong: Master Series, Ultra, Shadow, M1: .725 (3/4") 3A, PRO ARM (Titan & Atlas?): .625 (5/8") Flyer, Pilot, Archer, ProVid: .500 (1/2") Thanks.
Tom Wills 54 Report post Posted March 31, 2018 A couple of quick corrections/notes: Tiffen "Large" size is actually a shade under 3/4", at around .740" And all of these sizes are nominal - a 5/8" (.625") shaft will likely not fit well, if it fits at all, into a PRO gimbal, because there does need to be some tolerance for the arm post to fit easily into the gimbal handle. I believe the Tiffen sizes tend to be on-size (or a thousandth or two smaller) for the arm posts, and have the few thousandths of tolerance in the gimbal handle, but all of my PRO arm posts are undersized (about .623" from PRO, down to about .621" for some others I've collected). Hope that helps!

Christian Ramirez-Coll 2 Report post Posted April 5, 2018 Thanks, Jerry, Corrected list: Master Series, Ultra, Shadow, M1: .740 (a shade under 3/4) ??? 3A, PRO ARM (Titan & Atlas?): .621, .623 (a shade under 5/8) Flyer, Pilot, Archer, ProVid: .495, .493 (a shade under 1/2) These leave room for "some tolerance for the arm post to fit easily into the gimbal handle" (Tom Wills) I feel the first number may still be wrong. Should it be lower than .740? Thanks.
