hello All

I have an Ultra kit, Unfortunately a few months back my 5" green screen 24 volt monitor got smashed in transit, it is written off.

I have managed to source a used one to replace it. It is a 12volt model taken form a 12 volt Ultra rig.

It looks in very good condition cosmetically.

One strange thing is happening though.

The monitor powers up and seems to work absolutley fine.

However when the battery runs low and starts to flash the monitor and camera go blank as normal.

After about 20 or so seconds though the monitor fires back up and has a block of light about 20% square in the midddle and then this collapses to a thin intense vertical line which shortly afterwards collapse again to an intense spot in the middle of the screen.

This has already done some damage. There is a small irregular black spot burnt on the tube face. Not too disastrous and I can live with it.

Has anyone seen this problem before and is there anything I can do to stop it happening ?

Does anyone have a circuit diagram for this monitor I could see please

Cheers
