Robin But that is just the strange thing.., as you all can see.. the pitcrew is also not dressed up with a fire suit as in the F1 !. I started onit in France, they took 6 months to pay after 3 solicitors letters, and the Production Manager was the most un-professional person I've ever dealt with!!!! Phew! That feels better!!! I think they've been using local's..But I do know that some fella in Holland does alot of the companies work, good company just a complete arse of a PM! Best!!! Matt... the BEEB ??? What the hell is that ? Indeed interesting, but hey.. wide angle shots and also take a good look at the total broadcast quality. It is not that really good, F1 looks a lot better. In some several broadcast magazines the last months.. the A1 Grand Prix is some subject of discussion. Some things like onboard camera's technics etc etc.. In those articles they speak about 'high quality technics, better then F1'.. Sofar the overall quality is so so.. so indeed total cheapo option. Manager! Whats worse is that we used to be best mates! I was asked to operate the steadicam but refused to do it for health & safety reasons and because they were only offering a UK cameramans rate. I wasn't happy about using the company's heavy Ultra (wanted to use my EFP) in hot, humid conditions especially as there was lots of ground to cover, chaotic pit stops and nobody watching your back! There was no proper steadicam assistant. The operator on this job and the one in the photos is Machiel from Holland. He doesn't where a fire suit thank god and uses no zoom or focus. Unfortunately that lovely Sky reporter was working for one race only and not with the the A1 crew. btw Chris, I still have not been paid for the A1 test which was 3 weeks before yours!
