Digital Microwave system.

Recommended Posts

Now everyone can afford to be wire free as CBS and BBC lead in the OFDM microwave revolution, live-to-air.

CBS and BBC are the first networks to use the ground breaking technology of the-boxx microwave link for live-to-air news broadcasts featuring the Rose Bowl Parade and the Oscars

The-boxx is an affordable alternative to existing COFDM microwave systems providing a stable and reliable digital video link.

KCBS Los Angles has successfully trialled the-boxx roaming cable free for

live-to-air broadcasts since December, and will continue using the technology as part of their news broadcasts in the future while BBC Bristol used the boxx to roam around the Wallace and Gromet factory for a 3min live cross. They now have 3 on order.

Designed in the UK, the-boxx provides a digital microwave link from single or multi-camera platforms without ghosting, break-up or interference. The-boxx is specifically designed for live to air transmission, portable field monitoring, Steadicam, video-assist and surveillance applications.

The-boxx has also been used for video-assist on Emmy winning show ?The

Amazing Race(CBS) and Gray's Anatomy (ABC).
