Putting a photo into my post

Is that new? I don't think you need to be a sustaining member to post pix, just to sell Equipment...

And again a one time donation to Tim of $40.- to keep the forum free... not a bad deal!

Make sure that the picture is either .jpg or .gif.

Make sure that the picture is suitable for web (save it as a web image)

And that it does not exide 120 KB. per post... don't make it to big we have limited space on this board.

When you post you can get the picture from anywhere. I usually modify it in Photoshop and drag it onto the desktop of my mac and then post it on the site... but that's just me...

Also posting pictures in "General Discussion" is or at least was not possible.

Hope that helps,

Fly safe,

Erwin

erwin,

yeah you have to be a paid member.. when the site was first opened, anyone could post an image, but he then changed it to paid members only.

in the "FREE" wanted section there is a box you can browse and upload a photo in but thats the only section...

Erwin,

You are 100% right !

I think we should have moderators to keep this place clean and a pleasure to use.

So we could have Pinned Threads, Edited and Definitive Q & A's, FAQs and foremost clear Behaviour Rules that no one could miss...

Pinned Threads, Q & A's and FAQs to avoid same simple questions coming over and over again and to give away even more good tips and tricks.

I believe that looking hard for informations is an important, essential part of the learning process.

But to help people who wants to go up to the next level it would be good to have our "science" explained in the best conditions, no ?

and of course clear Behavior Rules to get rid of bad moods, gigantic egos and following jealous souls.

In a way it's what your are trying to do Erwin, but unfortunately without the possibility to move threads posted in the wrong section and discard those "Classifieds" from non sustaining members...

And if someone is asking why you are doing that and why I am typing right now, it's so obvious : we both love this Forum and want it to be perfect.

Kareem.
