Premium Members mark morgan Posted May 12, 2006 Premium Members Report Share Posted May 12, 2006 just by chance have you tried the artemis by sachtler,or heard anything about this rig,i was at nab and i tried on rigs back to back and this rig felt like butter and was very comfortable java script:emoticon(';)',%20'smid_14') ;) Dave, I know for me, I always look to the manufacturers that continually raise the bar (Tiffen, PRO, XCS, Klassen to name a few). They innovate and push their competition to improve. Glidecam got into the game a long time ago by producing low-end crap that boasted not an original thought. Yes, lately they are trying to get into the higher end market with the Gold, etc. I understand this to be a decent rig for the money and very functional. In my mind though, I'd rather support the companies that are continually pushing the envelope. That is a personal choice. Paul Magee (hey Paul) is spot on with his comments as usual.
