Hi Tim,

How about a new Forum, or list or the like for stolen equipment, Lost or Found equipment. Put it in a seperate list so that you can find it quickly without going throuh the entire General Disscusion.

So people can post there lost or stolen equipment with serial numbers and location as well as circumstances...

I'm still looking for my Arm and Vest:

- PRO Vest, Serial# 107

- 3a Gold Spring Arm, Serial# 588

Stolen at the Valley Collage, end of 2001...

Thank you, Tim.

The Production Equipment Rental Association (PERA) has one at:

http://www.productionequipment.com/

Look under "Tools". Notice Erwin's stolen gear is already listed.

I submitted it to PERA.

It used to be very easy to specifically look for Steadicam and all kinds of equipment related to Steadicam would pop up, since they upgraded the website, you have to look specifically for "PRO" sometimes for "George Paddock" or "Steadicam" etc... to try to avoid the last 30 Arri 435 that got stolen last week...

I just thought that here everybody is on on a fairly regular bases and can easier and quicker see and act on stolen or lost Steadicam equipment.

Greg Bubb, if you contact him, will put up stolen XCS equipment but only his equipment.

Just a thought, don't just throw everybody stines at once...

Maybe "Grand High Poobah", or "Obsessive-Compulsive Dominator"?

And Tim, thank you for changing "Newbie" to "New Member". I'm sure guys like Larry McConkey and Peter Abraham must be a little chagrined to see "Newbie" used to describe them.
