(Archer, Zephyr, etc) I finally did it! Thank you @KC Kennicutt and @Peter Abraham. I now sell a wedge plate that screws directly into the top of original SOS plate narrowing the channel to the correct width for smaller Steadicam Dovetails. (Archer, etc) It attaches with 2 heat treated 3mm socket screws which can easily be removed if you transition to a larger Steadicam down the road. Please see photos. All newer plates are pre tapped so no drilling needed. If you don't need the wedge SOS plates are also available.
