Josh Mason Posted October 17, 2020 Report Posted October 17, 2020 Hey guys, I’ve been on the hunt for a good zoom controller to add to my kit for fujinon and/or canon broadcast lenses. Does anyone have some insight as to what’s out there? Quote
Premium Members Bryan Trieb Posted October 18, 2020 Premium Members Report Posted October 18, 2020 Most Operators in North America use either a Stanton zoom/focus unit, or a Gzoom. Pros and cons to both. Whichever you choose, it's best to get 2 of the same units in case you have failure on set. Quote
Josh Mason Posted October 18, 2020 Author Report Posted October 18, 2020 Gotcha, thanks. I did look at the Stanton zoom controller, I think that would be my preference. They tend to be pretty reliable. Quote
Pedro Silva Posted October 24, 2020 Report Posted October 24, 2020 Try to buy a bebob zoe eng zoom controller. It is quite reliable. The only problem is that it is no longer manufactured by Bebob. It will have to be used. Another option is the Stick zoomcontrol from Betz Tools. All the best Pedro Quote
