Premium Members Jamie Hammond Posted May 23, 2006 Premium Members Report Share Posted May 23, 2006 I have noticed that a few people have been looking for steadicam T-shirts recently, so I have come up with a design and a few random slogans that might be quite fun. I have posted on the Steadiforum and they seem to be going down well.If there is enough interest in them I will run a batch off. The problem is I need to cut down the slogans so to keep production costs down to a minimum. It would be great to get some feedback on the design and maybe poll the slogans and see wether its worth me getting some made up. The design would either be white on black(as per design) or vice versa. The approx cost would be £16 plus postage/shipping but hopefully I can drop that cost if there is enough interest. Many Thanks J Slogans: 1.Weebles Wooble?but steadicams don?t 2.Are you ready to go steadi?. 3.?.no stairs, running, long lenses, Don Juan, step offs,?..but everything else..maybe? 4.Wobblecam? 5.If its not steadi?then I?m probably drunk (stoned) 6.Readi? steadi?. flo? 7.Steadicam operators?.. do it with a strap-on? 8.Don?t worry?this thing doesn?t weight much at all, you stand around and chat as much as you want about the shot?? 9.Yes it is bloody heavy? Premium Members Stephen Murphy Posted May 23, 2006 Premium Members Report Share Posted May 23, 2006 I can think of a few jobs where slogan number 8 on a tshirt would have been appropriate - id vote for that!:)

Posted May 24, 2006 Premium Members Report Share Posted May 24, 2006 Booooooooo Going to agree with Marc, Your T-shirts are childish and nothing that I would wear. Also if you would like to sell something on this forum, you should buy a banner ad and support the forum
Premium Members Jamie Hammond Posted May 24, 2006 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted May 24, 2006 Oh well, each to their own opinion, the world would be a boring place if we all liked/disliked the same thing. Please do keep posting your opinions, good or bad. I know there are quite a few of you guys who do like the shirts, and as I said they are just a bit of fun. I do fully intend to pay in the "For Sale" section, when I have a good idea of which designs people would like, and an order form is worked out. I have always found this a great source of infomation and will endeavour to support the forum, if and when I go into production of the T's. Although I cant see myself retiring on the sales of them just yet. Thanks to all for your opinions......I think  ...BTW....Mikko, Sorry.... slogans are for all you back mounted vest owners only.... or if I was really clever I should have placed the slogans in the gaps viewable when wearing a standard vest. Doh! :P

Premium Members Brad Grimmett Posted May 24, 2006 Premium Members Report Share Posted May 24, 2006 Sheesh, get a sense of humour. And don't you mean support Tiffen? Tiffen has nothing to do with this forum. It's run by Tim Tyler.

Premium Members Eric Fletcher S.O.C. Posted May 24, 2006 Premium Members Report Share Posted May 24, 2006 If I am mistaken, then I will apologise. You are mistaken, this forum is run out of Tim Tylers pocket and it has nothing to do with Tiffen. I have a sense of humor, and in the future if you are going to try to sell something it needs to go into the for sale section. That's the rules everyone has to play by, if you can't play by those rules don't post. I have noticed that a few people have been looking for steadicam T-shirts recently, so I have come up with a design and a few random slogans that might be quite fun. Jamie, In the future a FOR SALE post like this belongs in the FOR SALE forum.
Premium Members Jamie Hammond Posted May 24, 2006 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted May 24, 2006 Hi Eric, I'm not trying to be a pain in the butt here, but at the moment I am not selling anything. I'm running a poll to cut down slogans and see if there is a market for a few T-shirts. As I said I am willing and will post in the for sale section if I decide to produce them and fully appreciate how this forum is funded. I just don't appreciate being treated like a naughty schoolboy. Thanks J
