I reviewed this shot in a workshop back in November. I heard as they were coming down from the crane PD had to put the rest of the ceiling down as the operator starts following Tom Hanks. 
 

Just rewatched the movie and wanted to share this great shot.

Did Scott tell you that or another person on set ? I have always loved this shot Elegant in design outstanding work by Scott .

I have also read he was on a platform on Fisher dolly ?
