NB Stabilizer Steadicam Arm (The "Rubber Band" Arm) Barely Used

Bought this after trying out George Billingers and loving it. Used it for a handful of shots and the slightly longer socket area makes my arm (the one attached to my body) sit odd. At 6’4” my arm has always rested on the steadicam arm. Guess you can’t teach an old dog new tricks. So off to a new owner it goes.

This is the first version of the arm which means you can use your standard size PRO posts but it does not have a spinning gimbal in the arm that allows the post to rotate freely. . I actually got it for that because I dont like a free spinning post. The newer version uses their proprietary arm posts and spins freely and is a different color. It's a great little arm, light, and a massive boom range, certainly more than the PRO arm has. There’s a reason a lot of top ops love it and have switched and I was right there as well.

Paid $8500 for it once you factor in shipping, import taxes and use taxes (that was a new one) and as it’s new and they only sell the second gen now for 10K before all the other fees I’d like to get as close to that as possible but make me an offer. Cash appreciated to keep it off the books and if you are good for it I’m fine to do a payment plan.

Lemme know and thanks

Dave

Pics below. Also, a freind found out that you can upgrade to the gimballed post holder for about $1000 whihc would still keep it under the price of a new arm from them.
