Does one need a special adapter to use this with an ExoVest?

That's a good question. I never heard of an adapter to the ExoVest.

I think it can be done, if you have a smart friend with a cnc milling machine.

Has anyone here in the forum heard of an adapter?

Did a little research because I didn't have anything else to do today. The original xBone was designed to work with the Eco, Klassen and I think Action Products vest. The xReach also works with the Exo vest and others. The xBone CF makes no mention of working with Exo (from the flowcine site) and couldn't find any information on an adaptor. Doesn't mean one doesn't exist or that flowcine couldn't make one.

I had blindly asked this question, but I see now the difference in attachment points--I had looked at the xREACH before, and my brain switched the two for some silly reason. I'd be interested to know what Flowcine says, @chris iwanow, but if the arm would be long enough to reach around the ExoVest waist, then an adapter could probably be machined...

Do you think it’s possible, that I make an adapter for the XBone CF > Exovest? Or will I get structural difficulties from the dimensions?

Answer Flowcine:

You should be able to do a adapter Im sure, however it would need a bit of CNC:ing.
