as an owner of a pro aim cart and geared head, id steer clear of pro aim. 

With the geared head, there is a lot of play/deadspace before gears engage.

on the cart, latches overtime, became bent and unusable, and the pin for the steadicam mast bent underload with a moderate heavy build on the sled. 

Proaim uses cheaper materials and are not reliable. Most of the issues could be fixed with some tinkering, but for peace of mind, I would save and buy something from a more reputable company.
