UHF receiver needed

I have an old Lentequip UHF transmitter for my rig. Right now I use a handheld LCD TV for receiving the signal.

I'd like to have a receiver that will give me a video out, composite or whatever. So that I can (or a renter) get a better signal than what I see on the tiny LCD.

I need something fairly soon, any ideas?

Thanks! =)

Bryan,

I have a Sony diversity, but most of the time I just use a Transvideo Hermes. Takes a 4-pin XLR in for power (I have an AC adapter as well, which I'd recommend getting) and runs off anything from 8 to 28 volts. In a pinch, it runs off internal AAs. Comes with a decent antenna but I usually opt for my shark fin. Small, light, and durable. Channel is set via two pots that require a small screwdriver to change. This is both good and bad. Good because no one changes the channel by accident and then bitches they don't have video and bad because you need a tool to do it! Cost? Approx $850.

Thank's Alec,

That was speedy.

I was hoping they would be a couple of hundred dollars, at least until I could let a job pay for it.

Would a consumer receiver be worth the money? like, something I could pick up at best buy? I usually don't like getting less than the best quality of stuff. It's even hard to suggest it. =)

ta,

Bryan
