- Miscellaneous extras: recorder mount, original gimbal guts (pre VZ conversion leftovers), original short handle (no bearing. It's in the long handle.), Fracol Landing pad, bunch 'o cables, extra gimbal handle bumper rings, DB lll wrench, 2 gimbal bearing cover wrenches, 2 post lock-ring wrenches, 2 dovetail plate-mount iris rods

This is an SD sled.

I was this close to having Cramped Attic do the HD conversion but the lead time interfered with the start of a show and it didn't work out. Instead, I just ran the really nice SmallHD BNC cable up to the camera.  Don't knock it.  Disconnect the cable from the monitor, wrap it around the camera and you're ready to dynamically balance when you see the director coming around the corner.

I bought this new around 2000-2001.  The only thing to ever fail was a breaker.  I took it into GPI and they replaced all three with heavy duty versions. The one flaw is at the top right corner of the forward battery mount.   A little piece of it is broken off (see picture).  It has no functional effect.  I even have that little piece.  If I have a second I'll try and glue it back on.

As you can see, the sled has an installed XCS PDL.  I spent nearly all of my career looking at a green screen, with a really nice electronic level.  I still have a couple TB-6's in the stable.  They're up for grabs as well.  I figured that the potential buyer of this rig would be more interested in the SmallHD, so I'll sell those separately.  I could be wrong.  Anyway, the Nebtek is a pitiful substitute for a TB-6, but it should display the PDL, I believe (I never had to find out).  Bring a camera.  We'll discover something new, together.

I'm including all the Gorelock stuff because you've got to put the thing down at some point.  If you already have one and don't need the HBB, rings & Mag Docks, I'll reward your highly refined sensibilities and knock some $$$ off.

The batteries.  They've seen some action.  They've been recelled.  Several times.  They work.

I've got lots of pictures of everything mentioned here.  I'll post just a few.  If you're a serious potential buyer, please ask if you want to see other angles or details.

You parting-out vultures will just have to take a break and circle for a good long while.  In fact, fly over to my soon-to-be-posted list of the rest of my gear.  You'll find plenty to feast on there.  You could get almost everything else you need to make up whole kit from that list, this sled and my arm, which I posted earlier.  Give me a bit to get that other gear posted.

Thanks for lookin'.
