Premium Members johnhankammer Posted February 17, 2023 Premium Members Report Share Posted February 17, 2023 (edited) $3,800 The purge continues... My cart (hopefully soon to be YOUR cart) is mentioned within my list of a bunch of other stuff for sale in a previous post. However, and I hope it's cool to do this (let me know, moderators), I'm listing it here separately because I finally have some pictures of this beast, and I think it begs to have it's own moment in the spotlight, away from the noise of the other, lesser, though still important aks. It comes with: docking post assembly with a baby pin and sled landing pad, two accessory bars (between the uprights, bolt anything you want to them. I had a Mafer clamp bolted to one which grabbed my stand, with the legs contained in the little white cup), folding hand grips, foot brakes, a couple extra accessory post-holding brackets (one with the stand-holding cup epoxied to it), upper and lower drawers with combination locks, a couple Backstage cable hangers that I would lay my stand in for stage moves, Backstage stand hanger and basic hook, spare tire tube that I think is the correct size (I could be wrong), and the Steadi-cabinet. Anyway, I bought this new and picked it up from Innovativ, waaay out East of LA, past the giant Budweiser cans, off the 210. I took it back there a few years ago to have them fix a smart wheel bearing-tower issue which they resolved, then I paid for a refresh of the whole cart. Primarily new carpet and I believe a couple wheel bearings. The 'Steadi-cabinet' is something I assembled myself. It's a frame made of 80/20 1x1 profile aluminum, Baltic birch plywood drawers and drawer slides that are made for RV's. I ordered the drawers from Drawers Dot Com in my custom sizes. When you close the drawers, the slides 'catch' and won't release unless you give the drawer a little tug. The slides are designed for RV's, so when you go around a corner your Pomeranian isn't skewered because your silverware drawer didn't fly open. Imagine how that scenario plays out inside the camera truck! The sides, back and top are covered with thin plywood, which is conveniently pre-aged for you. The top drawer is huge and is where I kept my weather bag, snacks that I didn't want to share, sometimes my backpack, etc. There are a couple pictures that show a tape measure in a drawer. That's this top drawer. The middle drawer has foam cut out for my (hopefully soon to be someone else's) arm. The bottom drawer is foam lined for your sled (Somebody, please buy my sled. The closet at the retirement facility will NOT hold a 1650.). The other tape measure pictures are showing the outside dimensions of the the entire cabinet. The PRO arm, PRO sled and Pelican case are for illustration purposes only-ish. They ARE for sale and are featured in previous posts of their own. This thing is a beast and really only for local pick up here in Woodland Hills. If it helps you make the decision, I'm thrilled to deliver it to you in the Los Angeles area, or to a local set you're working on. Just before lunch would be perfect.
