Just keep in mind that this is a temporary solution until i can afford a marell monitor.

I bought a supposely bare 12" daylight lcd with controller for really cheap. It's suppose to be 1500nits. I decided that i was going to build a cheapy enclosure for now and mount it on the sled to get me by for now.

I have a shoot this saturday with a sdx900 and this whole week and last week i've been scrambling trying to find a fix for the 3a monitor with no luck. So i just did this for the time being. Laugh all you want. :P it works for now. I'll end up turning it into a portable field monitor once i get the marell.

let me know what you think. :D

I agree with you Eric, I have to keep my eye on a much larger area. My eye wanders much more compared to my other 7" lcd. But with my 7" lcd, once you walk outside into the daylight it completely washes out the image. I'm just hoping that i can save enough money in the next couple months to at least get the marell monitor.
