Back pain, vest related?

Now that I got my rig up, I started practicing and after about 15mins or so of non stop walking around, my back starts to hurt. I'm trying to see if it's just my back getting used to the weight, or the vest isn't fitted for me. The vest I have is a custom made back mounted vest.

Get yourself to a workshop, any workshop, quick.

 

Many of your questions and posts indicate a lack of basic understanding and experience - which is where we all started.

 

Combine your enthusiasm, willingness to build your own stuff, etc. with a workshop and you'll understand so much more, learn faster, etc.

 

BTW, You should not feel ANY back pain with a well designed vest and arm that is PROPERLY ADJUSTED to you, AND you stand and walk properly.

To things I think. If you are new to the backmounted style of vesting, your body and your operating style probably needs ajusting.

 

Second - what kind of coustome made backmounted vest do you have? See the tricky thing is this: many vests - sad to say also backmounted vests are not anatomicaly correct in there design. Not made to distribute the weight to the strongest point of your back. They tend to put presure on your belly and your back reacts by tightening your upper back muscles - do that for to long, and fatigue sets in.

 

Keep an eye up for my new titanium backmounted vest, wich will releve you of a lot of back pain.
