Innokenty Vetkin
Hello everybody! As a poor guy I use low end hanheld stabilizer which does not have internal wiring. So I have to run video line externaly. This limits rotation of the rig and It gets hard to judge dynamic balance. What would be the best technique to dynamic balance such a rig (besides throwing it away and getting a better one)?

Then run your video line down the post and secure it as tight as possible to reduce any effect it might have on throwing that dynamic balance off. Also, unless you're planning to do some intense whip pans, I wouldn't worry too much about dynamic balance.
Innokenty Vetkin
Thanks. I'll probably try that. My cable being HDMI is pretty stiff so it doesn't flop around. I don't do a lot of whip pans, but I want my rig to pan reasonably flat.
