RobinThwaites
Hi Imran See I told you that sort of thing might happen if you were not careful! Robin
Premium Members paul magee Posted November 17, 2006 Premium Members Report Share Posted November 17, 2006 Imran, I'm having a difficult time checking out your rig with all those " Extras" in the way. Looks like you had a very interesting day. Paul Magee
Premium Members Imran Naqvi Posted November 19, 2006 Premium Members Report Share Posted November 19, 2006 Yes, much as I love the Bartech and M1 they are both hefty pieces of kit! What? Oh yes, when a director calls and wants to do a music video in the style of an 80's porn video (big hair, lots of blue eye shadow etc), do you really say no? Premium Members Robert Eder Posted December 4, 2006 Premium Members Report Share Posted December 4, 2006 Now thats really a low budget rig :D It was for a 1:20 sequence in a music video. My 2" Baerbel gimbal was on service, so i had to borrow a 3a rig which i never used before. I was asked to fly a m2(cheapo 35mm adapter) setup with a hvx200 on its back. the problem of the m2 35mm adapter is that it flips the image around and the greenscreen of the old 3a rig has no flip function (or i was just too stupid to find it) so i decided to use my sushi server (baerbel lomode bracket) to flip the whole camera setup  it worked out pretty fine, but i had to use some security strap to fix some vibrations that came from the upside down mounting. greetings,
Premium Members Gordon Li-Ron Posted December 5, 2006 Premium Members Report Share Posted December 5, 2006 the old 3a rig has no flip function (or i was just too stupid to find it) Hey Robert, Maybe yout rig was a 3 not a 3A. I have a 3A and there are two switches on the left side of the screen to flip the image. Did you notice two switches on the monitor? I am not familiar with the 3 so I'm really just guessing. take care gordon
