Premium Members Afton Grant Posted July 23, 2006 Premium Members Report Share Posted July 23, 2006 Just found this article as it was sent out over "the wire". ...that's right. I know the lingo. http://www.prweb.com/releases/2006/7/prweb415170.htm Decent pictures of Alec and the rig at the Open on http://www.nysegwaytours.com/ too. BTW, who can come up with the best subtitle/caption for whatever is taking place on the cover of the Segplay magazine? Best, Afton
Premium Members Jason Torbitt Posted July 23, 2006 Premium Members Report Share Posted July 23, 2006 ...and a nice picture of one of our UK operators, Simon Wood at the British Open. Does anyone know if he had a focus puller or not? That is the next question...how about a trailer or side pod for the focus puller? ;) ...maybe not. Some great shots at the Open Golf though, well done to all concerned. And a better pair of legs for a days work too....

Moderators Alec Jarnagin SOC Posted July 23, 2006 Moderators Report Share Posted July 23, 2006 Thanks guys. Seems to be my week for free press. One possible correction of the correction (regarding US debut), I have to believe that Jerry Holway used his Hands Free on set long before I did the NYC shot. It may be true that I was the first to use a "rental rig" here in the US. Regardless, cheers to all involved with this device. My thoughts on the day are posted here: http://www.steadicamforum.com/forums/index...ost&p=18821
Premium Members Guido Lux Posted July 25, 2006 Premium Members Report Share Posted July 25, 2006 Nice going there, Alec! I'm a little nervous because I might have my first soccergame with the AR on the handsfree tomorrow! They're not sure if they want the handsfree but they will let me try, I guess!! I'll let you know how it went... cheers, Guido What do you think of these tryouts of a friend of mine(check the handsfee demos)
Premium Members Jerry Holway Posted July 27, 2006 Premium Members Report Share Posted July 27, 2006 Thanks guys. Seems to be my week for free press. One possible correction of the correction (regarding US debut), I have to believe that Jerry Holway used his Hands Free on set long before I did the NYC shot. Ah, the old record thing. I had my handsfree on several sets, all tricked out and ready to go, but for various reasons, never actually used it. My "first" is limited to being among the first to buy one.... And first to send cars flying off the road, dogs barking, children screaming, etc. in my neighborhood. Jerry
