Hoping to be helpful to all the customers that will read this message, we just released a first big new firmware update for SM7 PRO 3G monitor making it more stable and reliable especially at low frame rate like 23.98/24.00/25.00. At the same time, this new release firmware adds also new configuration settings for Tally making it compatible with different polarity circuitry (direct and reverse). Another cool and useful add concerns the possibility not only to define the dimension of the crosshair but also the thickness. Very useful when the monitor is not so close to the operator (like when mounted on sled). To make this new firmware more recognizable at first sight, we changed the color accent on the term "PRO", now in RED. The upgrade is simple and straightforward via Burner software (PC/Mac) downloadable at www.smartsystem.com/software. At the same URL it is possible to download the relative software manual, in case of necessity. Before upgrading, it is important to grant a stable power supply to the monitor and connect it via XTDongle (in bundle with the monitor) after the completion of the boot stage.
