Trinity 2 question for Artemis 2 conversion

so I wonder if I want to use trinity 2 as Artemis do I need to buy the bottom stage or can I use 2 top stage? I know this sounds weird but I still want to know..

I was in the same situation. I opted to buy an additional bottom stage (the one without the fore-aft knob) to be used as the top stage of the sled. They're interchangeable. My reasoning was simply for the speed of conversion. I'm 95% sure you can use 2 top stages.

i believe two topstage is totally fine since we work as steadiop longer than being a tri op, in which case we are used to adjust the for/aft and r/l nob on the top. in my case, i happen to have a good deal to buy an used bottom stage and i guess? i would have time to swtich between tri and steadicam haha.
