Premium Members Charles King Posted August 2, 2006 Premium Members Report Share Posted August 2, 2006 I was wondering if anyone new the price of steadirig's new top stage? I sent them several e-mails but haven't gotten any reply. I try to phone them but nothing. Thanks.
Premium Members Gordon Li-Ron Posted August 2, 2006 Premium Members Report Share Posted August 2, 2006 I'm in the same boat. I emailed them over a month ago and no response. Would definitely want to know as I am a few months away from spending some cash on upgrades!

Premium Members Grayson Austin Posted August 3, 2006 Premium Members Report Share Posted August 3, 2006 Well it seems nobody knows. Since no one else replied about this, I will. I spoke to Hugo a few days ago. All is well with the topstage. Hugo has been dealing with some totally unrelated issues outside of the business which he may choose to elaborate on or not. I am sure he will make an announcement soon about the timetable for the topstage. Please be patient a bit longer. Remember, life is not always about steadicam. People have lives outside of this business as well and we must remember that as with many companies related to our equipment, Rig Engineering does not have a huge number of employees and sometimes despite what we would like, life just happens. If you need a topstage right away and can't afford to wait, then buy one now from PRO or Anthrazit. If you can afford to wait a bit longer, then wait. You won't be disappointed with Hugo's topstage. Better that it take a bit longer and be spot on. Sincerely, Grayson Grant Austin AR owner/operator Steadicam owner/operator
Premium Members Charles King Posted August 3, 2006 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted August 3, 2006 Thanks. Do you by any chance know the price of it? A rough idea maybe. Thanks again. I know there is life outside of steadicam but that's a whole different story
Premium Members Hugo_Langer Posted August 6, 2006 Premium Members Report Share Posted August 6, 2006 Hi Everybody. We'd like to thank Grayson for his kind words and let everyone know what has been happening. Hugo's mother was recently diagnosed with terminal cancer. Obviously, we have been preoccupied lately and since there are only two of us, time has been short. As a result, we have not been able to respond to queries as quickly as we, or you, would like. We apologise for that. We had to make priorities and concluding business with customers who had their money down on the table is taking first precedence. We are now in catch-up mode and we hope to be on top of everything pretty quickly. However, we do ask that people keep in mind the extra demands being made on us. We may be a bit slower than usual for a while but we are still here. Kind regards, Hugo Langer Rig Engineering Australia P/L
