Steadicam Pilot vs A15 arms

Hi  Innokenty

 

I just wanted to share some information about this.

In context, last week I contacted Steadicam support by email,I wanted to confirm the part number of the pins for one of these arm.

and their response was (copy - paste):

"So looks to me like we basically just renamed the arm but it remains the same design. Here is the current A-15:"

 

 NOTE: to highlight, thank and highlight the fast and EFFECTIVE response from Evan Dunlevy  from  Steadicam customer service.

They also attached this photo:

 

It is also interesting to check out the database made by John E Fry (Good job,  Thanks John).

The database sshows:  Max camera Weight = (10 for pilot and 15 for Aero), I think the limit is just in the gimbal, not the arm byself.

Thank you! I wonder if the same thing happened to Flyer & Zephyr arms becoming A-30?
