Mike Herrst
I'm looking for a solution to control zoom and focus on cinema lenses that don't have servo control. Like external motors and a MDR. I know about GZoom and I'm considering going that direction. I just wanted to know if there was something else available I could consider. Oskars Izaks
I don’t know where to get it, but I also found something like this: https://www.zooxer.tv/product/9.html https://www.facebook.com/groups/195998120526980/permalink/8616341701825871/? Premium Members Lawrence Karman Posted April 2 Premium Members Report Share Posted April 2 (edited) https://www.jimmyjib.com/product/EA-112 This has been the Gold standard for many years. I've got one I'd be willing to sell at a much better price than this. That's if you are looking for a gimbal handle mounted control. Otherwise there are cheap alternatives to Preston that you may or may not want to use in a higher end professional environment. Premium Members David Marroquin Posted April 14 Premium Members Report Share Posted April 14 (edited) Like @Lawrence Karman said, you may or may not want to use in a higher end professional environment, but I've been pulling focus as well as controlling zoom with a Tilta Nucleus Nano II (attached to my gimbal via a clamp and nato rail) that is then connected wirelessly to Nucleus-M motors. I can always send you more photos if you'd like to better see how the Nano II is attached to the gimbal. I've never had any issues with those motors or with the Nano II control wheel.
