Premium Members David Marroquin Posted April 4 Premium Members Report Share Posted April 4 (edited) Hey all, I'm relatively new to this forum and this is also my first post. I read some warnings encouraging members here to verify a seller's info as we move forward with transactions and acquiring gear. I'm available any time via text (see below). You can also check out my IMDB page (via my profile). I'm actually a police officer and have been with the LAPD for going on 18 years. When I'm not working, and spending time with my wife and 2 children, I try to be on set as a DP or Steadicam op. Hope to transition out of law enforcement and into the world of film soon. But enough about me! I picked up an old Steadicam Provid 2 (from 1998) many years back that was missing the center post and top stage of the sled. I thought I'd be able to source one fairly easily but my 9 year old daughter was born and my steadicam aspirations came to a halt. I recently purchased a Steadicam Zephyr which is what I fly these days. Needless to say, I'm looking to get rid of the Provid 2 Vest, Arm and Flight Case (as well as the bottom stage of the sled). Everything is in very great condition (see photos); the arm was serviced in 2016 and it hasn't been used since. I can provide the email to Tiffen regarding the service if needed. The arm has a 28lb / 15kg weight capacity. Asking $2,000 OBO, for everything, but make me an honest offer if that seems too high. What would you expect to sell this for if you were me? I'm very reasonable. I'd prefer to meet up locally for cash or zelle or venmo, but if there aren't any local Los Angeles based takers, I may be willing to ship. Message me for more info. -David Marroquin 310-804-7018 Edited April 5 by David Marroquin Wanted to communicate flexibility in selling price. Premium Members David Marroquin Posted April 7 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted April 7 (edited) Still available. $1750 or best offer, but again, make me an honest offer if $1750 sounds too high. Not sure if this is true across the Steadicam ecosystem, but my Zephyr sled fits this arm. I could keep it as a back up vest and arm but it'll probably just sit there and it's taking up space. Hit me up if you have any questions. Happy flying! David 310-804-7018 Edited April 7 by David Marroquin
