Hi All,

Question :

When you fly with a video sender in combination a DVX100, HVX200 or Sony PD Camera, how do you connect the video out of the Camera to both the sender and the onboard monitor of the Sled ?

(btw situation on mine Steadicam Flyer)

When I fly a broadcast Camera, i use the connections video out and monitor out. The Prosumer camera's only have video out (composite) and svhs out. Are there some kind of splitters available which don't bother the 75 ohm video termination for example ?

Hope to hear,

Best Erik

That is exactly what you want.

Check any place where A/V gear is sold, prolly cost you sroudn ?5 - ?10

The S-Video signal is 2 signals: Brightness and Color. The Brightness is just the Black & White video signal.

Some S-Video -> Composite adapters join the channels through a capcitor and give you a color image, othere's just pass the Black & White signal.

Either adapter will work, though of course a Color signal is preferable.
