That must mean the BUZ is finished and you are off to celebrate on a well deserved vacation!

Well, sort of. The circuit design and software are complete and I'm laying out the PC boards right now. Unfortunately, in the last two weeks sales & service have gone crazy and I've had to stop working on it to get more units built and perform the repairs. I even sold two ICBM's for cryin' out loud. I fixed 4 BFD's and one ICBM in the last two days. I am finally caught up and am going to spend the rest of this week trying to get the boards done before I leave.

Thanks Charles! One thing nice about Long Beach is the cruise ship terminals are 20 minutes away by car.

Jim,

Just wanted to thank you publicly for your superior service. When my BFD got fried from a 24 volt Panavision cable made erroneously by an AC. Jim had it repaired immediately, and back in my hands. SERVICE, Just another reason the BFD is such a terrific investment. Thanks again Jim.

My Disclaimer: I in no way affiliated with or profit from the fine work of Bartech Engineering other than I buy at least one of all his terrific inventions.

Enjoy your well earned vacation.

BarTech Engineering will be closed the week of March 28 thru April 5 and re-open April 6. Someone will be here to sign for and collect packages.

Jim,

Please just make sure to leave your address on the ship, so that anyone who has a problem can send their BFD direct to you. I'm sure they'll just helicopter drop something that important right onto the ship. I'm sure most of the ops can tolerate it taking a bit longer (12 hours) than usual. You won't mind that will you?

I'll be on the BFD-P (Big Floating Diamond Princess). The captain has graciously agreed to vacate his cabin so the wife and I can stay there and set up shop. Just tell the helicopter pilot delivering your unit to drop it down the smokestack, or the BFD (Bartech Funnel Depository) as it's now known, and I'll get right on it.

Man, I need this vacation.

Rich, you are welcome. All in a days work.

FYI, I finished the BUZ circuit board layout last night and e-mailed the design to the PC board house so when I get back the boards should be here.

Jim, soldering on board a moving ship can be very dangerous. Especially after a few "boat drinks". I implore you to refrain from such activities. Enjoy your trip and don't drink the water.

Actually, I think the swaying created by the "boat drinks" counteract the swaying created by the boat, so he should be OK.
