Squeaky arm remedies?

Dan Coplan

Recommended Posts

I have a relatively new Steadyrig arm which works great, but it's been squeaking the last couple of times I've used it.

Anyone have tips on SAR (Squeaky Arm Remedies)?

Mine was more pinging than squeaking.

Call Hugo. He will walk you thru the process. I did this about a year ago, and haven't heard a "peep" since.

When I've been working with Steadyrig arms, the only times I've herd squeeking is when the screws on the spring covers were not done up properly, or there was some dust in and around there. The first thing I'd try would be to check all the screws and if necessary take the covers off, give them a clean.

If that doesnt fix it then i'd give Hugo a call.
