Premium Members Frederic Chamberland Posted May 31, 2008 Premium Members Report Share Posted May 31, 2008 Update from Berkeley Bionics... Video is worth watching . Now , is there a place for the Exo-backmount vest in your kit ? Walter should check into this.... http://www.switched.com/2008/05/30/exoskel...-for-pre-order/
Premium Members Jon Beattie Posted June 13, 2008 Premium Members Report Share Posted June 13, 2008 Update from Berkeley Bionics... Video is worth watching . Now , is there a place for the Exo-backmount vest in your kit ? Walter should check into this.... http://www.switched.com/2008/05/30/exoskel...-for-pre-order/ Very interesting. Its cool to see how small the unit really is without the backpack. The unit shown is also 2 generations old. Its got to cost a ton though. You can see that you could hard mount off the unit from where they had the weightplates. One day maybe in another 15years.
Premium Members Mike McGowan SOC Posted June 14, 2008 Premium Members Report Share Posted June 14, 2008 I've actually exchanged e-mails with them recently. They were talking about bringing in a rig and operator and trying it out.... I told them I'd be happy to go.
Premium Members Jess Haas SOC Posted June 14, 2008 Premium Members Report Share Posted June 14, 2008 Looks interesting although the guy they were using to demo it looked like he could handle those loads no problem even without the exoskeleton. I would have been much more impressed if they had shown a small woman carrying 200 pounds on her back with ease :-) ~Jess
Premium Members RonBaldwin Posted June 14, 2008 Premium Members Report Share Posted June 14, 2008 this thing is the answer to my desire to continue heavy drinking, smoking and not working out! I hope Walter is working on one. rb
