It used rubber bands for arm springs. The old SOA newsletter did a feature article on it. And let us not forget Janice Arthur's Steadicam Barbie! I think they had to pull this toy off the shelves because of copyright issues. -Edited- Holy Cow! I actually found it (not the SOA article but the actual toy on line!) check it out! It's called the Steadi-Cam Machine Gunner. Dave Bittner Posted April 13, 2004 Report Share Posted April 13, 2004 I built a lego rig a few years ago, unaware that it had already been done years earlier. It was a lot of fun, and really gave me a new understanding of the forces at work in the arm and the amount of torque pressure on the elbow joint. I posted pictures a while back when I built it.
