Premium Members Garrett Brown Posted January 15, 2007 Premium Members Report Share Posted January 15, 2007 Teflon spray at either end of the G-50 spring (where the coil departs from the 'terminal') is the answer to any spring noise. A big powerful spring is a potential musical instrument if any rubbing occurs... it resonates and 'creaks' a bit with the slightest provocation... (that's why the Pro spring cannisters are teflon-lined.) I recommend a small dose of teflon if this problem ever occurs in any of the G-series arms. (and of course let us know.... we're looking at this issue and have seen three examples so far) best regards, Garrett Brown
