Premium Members Daniel Pille Posted January 22, 2007 Premium Members Report Share Posted January 22, 2007 HI! What do you think about the Sony LMD-9020 as a Steadicam-monitor!? It´s weight is about 2,8Kilo(6 Pounds). Is it too heavy or a nice alternative to the TB-6!? I know the brightness is less than the TB-6 but it costs only 1800? and you have a 8,4" screen in colour. The 9030 has a SDI Input and costs 2400?! http://www.sonybiz.net/images/product/D/LM..._9030(brch).pdf let´s talk about!! Daniel
Premium Members Philip J. Martinez SOC Posted January 23, 2007 Premium Members Report Share Posted January 23, 2007 Hi Daniel I have to replace my monitor on my Artemis EFP HDSDI and have had problems making a choice. I've received a lot of good advice from this forum in a post ?HD or NTSC with AJA?. I just had the chance to see the Sony 9050 8.4" LCD out side (a jib op had one) it looked alright out side better then the monitor I have been using but it did seem a bit to big for a Steadicam rig. That being said I am not very experienced, I have been flying for only 11 months and have only used LCD monitors when working.

Premium Members Philip J. Martinez SOC Posted January 24, 2007 Premium Members Report Share Posted January 24, 2007 Hi Mark I'm very happy with my Artemis. I have used the F900 mostly but also SDX900, P2 with a big piece of steel, Digi beta, Beta 600. I just had the 24volt switch put in, I picked up my sled today, and I'm looking foward to flying some film cameras.
