Premium Members Lars Erik Posted January 23, 2007 Premium Members Report Share Posted January 23, 2007 Hello Nelson, the rig you are referring to, is a smaller rig. This forum deals mostly with bigger rigs. A better option would be to direct your question to steadiforum.com. They deal a lot more the smaller rigs and have more knowledge of them than we have. Good luck LE
Premium Members Kareem La Vaullee Posted January 23, 2007 Premium Members Report Share Posted January 23, 2007 As I live in France, in Paris to be more precise and that thing is using the word "Paris" in it's name, like for a perfume you know : Chanel Paris, well... You should stay away from that thing The Arm sucks The Vest sucks The Sled ... and the guy who make that thing claims that he invented something... I still don't see what, but hey, I'm a Steadicam Operator for only 14 years and I only own 5 rigs... He must know better than me. And if you read french you should go and have a look on the french start page what he says about Internet Forums. He commit that stupid writing because a lot of people where saying true facts about his products, unlike his sales bots. And what he did at that time ?, he threatened the french Forums where people posted their bad experience with the gear or the lack of solutions when a problem occurred. (missing parts when the gear arrived, etc.) He even threatened a friend of mine who did a fair side by side comparison with the Flyer. And all the advertising about his products used on TV shows in France is total bullshit ... But I have to admit he sometimes have nice ideas, for example I saw that his latest version is available in Beige, yes some kind of almost white but not really color, everything : Vest, Arm and Sled... That's cool. K. PS : And have a look to his version of the Antlers, now that's a good laugh.

Premium Members Lars Erik Posted January 23, 2007 Premium Members Report Share Posted January 23, 2007 And the vest really looks like the back protection motorcyclists use...maybe he invented that too! But have to give it to you Chris, the girl is nice! Who needs a good product when you got that girl marketing it. Check out the films section. You can almost see her boobies... Premium Members chris fawcett Posted January 23, 2007 Premium Members Report Share Posted January 23, 2007 I would be way too shy for that. Check out this video: http://www.laigleparis.fr/02%20Monter%20Setting%20up.wmv I'll translate from the French "The first time you use this product, it is vitally important that you coat the components in fine dust"

Premium Members RobVanGelder Posted February 6, 2007 Premium Members Report Share Posted February 6, 2007 I must say i admire his consistancy in design that is put in so many details. Even it it makes it absolutely useless or dangerous, like the antlers that can easily poke your eye out! Or the support plate for the monitor, that is sure to be vibrating like a leaf on a branch. But the design (the leaf) is consequent! :)
Jean-Nicolas Dorion
Hello Rob, I think their concept of using feathers to help you "fly" this thing is radical. I'dd never take the chance to run with that rig though... Seriously did anyone ever try that? It's one thing to design things but it has to be practical too. I'm still laughing about that rig! Fly safe everyone!
