I once bought one of these on ebay auction then arranged to go to copenhagen to check it before i bought it, spent the weekend with friends and was trying to check it on monday. He made it impossible to get near to check it out never returned my calls ect finaly on my last day we sopke and there was no way I could see it because he was out of town (but i think otherwise) just silly really here i am a customer wanting to give him cash for a product and he couldnt even be bothered to show it to me. Next time i heard of an ssv1 was when i had as chance try it on and let me say it was not impressive at all kinda like a efp vest but much worse, poor design cheep materials and very uncomfortable this guy is well known around these parts for the worst service on the planet steadicam possibly in the whole film industry ( I know Personally of one guy in australia still waiting for a sled after 12 months). glad I didn't buy i was lucky. get yourself an 2nd hand masters vest if you look for a while they do come up cheep sometimes it will be a much better investment.
