I'm not looking to spend over $2000. If you have anything that you are interested in selling or any ideas of monitors that would work outside (doesn't have to be the best of the best) let me know. I ended up getting the Tiffen 7” 700nit NTSC/PAL 16x9 monitor, it is under $2,000.00. I have used it a couple of times since I got it and it has not let me down. I had my Aaton S16MM with an old B&W tap outside the other week and I could see the picture just fine. Leslie ------------------------------------------ Call Tiffen and talk to Kyle he'll hook you up with that monitor, otherwise if your planning on being outside alot with your rig Boland is claiming to be making a 6.5" HD/SDI/Analog Daybright Monitor 1000 or more Nits but to Date it has not been released. I am currently using the Transvideo Ultrabright 1000 nits and I spent 3 Months shooting outdoors in Hawaii and never used a sun shield it worked awesome. I haven't posted it yet for sale, because I am in the middle of a job. The Marell has been my backup monitor, and not used much at all. It is fully daylight viewable, with built in framelines, image invert, etc...
