If you want an AR Buy Will Arnot's. It's been thoroughly sorted and comes fully equipped It's Posted Here

Arm:

Pro or G70. Both are Fantastic it's just a matter of trying each one and seeing what works for you.

Sled:

XCS Ultimate, Pro II or the Ultra2 from Tiffen.

The XCS Ultimate is the stiffest rig available with the best gimbal. Couple that with it's advanced power management, Future proofing that includes several unassigned wires running up the post for to use for whatever you want (Auto recorder start/stop for instance) add to that INCREDIBLE Customer service and you have a package that you just never have to worry about.

The Pro II, Fantastic in it's simplicity and adaptability. Solid sled with Solid customer service that has never let me down. Simplicity at it's best.

Ultra 2, Tiffens new kid on the block and by far the best to come from them in years. Garrett and Jerry should be proud. Has the HUGE Ultribrite HD Monitor.

Of those three the XCS Ultimate is the best choice for use with the AR and that's what Will has been using.

Choose your gear also with service in mind. How fast can you get mission critical parts and service especially if you are not local to the manufacture. I would also suggest searching the forum to find out who to avoid and who's falling short on service these days. Companies like Pro-Gear, Ben Fisher and a few others are ones to avoid no matter what.

Good luck in your choice, it's a great time to be buying gear with the solid choices coming from those three.

Well, there are a few more options and choices like MK-V and perhaps Bear Bell? I know the costumer service from bear beall is top notch. Some operators have issues with mk-v. I fly the Nexus from mk-v and till now no support problems. The 4 stage post is great.

I would suggest to try before you buy. I think thats the most important piece of buying new equipment.

I fly the G70, you cant go wrong with that. Ultra 2 is also a wice choice. At the time i had to decise between the mk-v nexus and the ultra 2. I did go for the nexus becose of the 4 stage post and the modulair design. But thats all personell. Aks yourself wich way you wanna go for the first coming time. For instance, i do lots of low mode jobs and that 4 stage makes live easier.

Very kind of you, Job! Robin will be pretty thankful for that, I guess ;)

Kapil, you also can call Robin at Tiffen +44 and 1869 and then 343835. ;)

Cheers, Lukas
