Premium Members Jens Piotrowski SOC Posted June 15, 2007 Premium Members Report Share Posted June 15, 2007 Dodge caravan Chrysler Town & Country ebay ramp The Dodge Grand Caravan / Chrysler Town & Country is a good alternative. It has stow and go seating (option), no need to take the seats out. A ramp (ebay) will let you push your cart in. It is currently very cheap due to the fact that Chrysler/Dodge is changing it for 2008. They are selling for $16k plus tax. (Chrysler Town & Country, base model) list is $22K

Plus one liter of fuel, ( liter not gallon ) is about 2 bucks. I drive a Mercedes V220. Its a nice van, and second hand not that expensive. For europian standards that is
Premium Members Aaron Medick SOC Posted June 24, 2007 Premium Members Report Share Posted June 24, 2007 Erwin, If you're looking for small. I would recommend a TOYOTA MATRIX. The back seats fold down allowing for a Magliner JR and all my cases to fit with room for additional gear. My windows are tinted. It get 34 MPG HW and 28 city. Also I can take parkway or non commercial routes. Con: You can't role in and out. It works great for me. Best, Aaron

They are great if you keep them for 35K miles and less than 3 years, the transmissions are CRAP

Premium Members Erwin Landau Posted July 10, 2007 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted July 10, 2007 Hi Paul, Several years back I was looking into that one, and yes that is about 8 years or so ago: http://www.vwvortex.com/artman/publish/printer_319.shtml The Lupo, a 3 liter car from VW... it had even a magnesium steering wheel to save weight... unfortunately they secede production... because of lake of interested. It was ahead of it's time. They should try it now...

Premium Members Jon Beattie Posted September 29, 2007 Premium Members Report Share Posted September 29, 2007 Though Chevy stopped making them in '05. Their are plenty around in all sorts of options. But Aside from an SUV or a Wagon. I would look at the Chevy Astro van. They made a v6 AWD version and you can get them in commerical versions, with limited windows and cages.
