Tak Igarashi
About a month ago, I went to a new camera releasing party for a panasonic camera, AG-HPX555 . It was completely a P2HD camera with no tape cartridge and it was very inexpensive. At that party, I was very surprised because I saw a great optical fiber cable units which a company called Jackal made. I put some pictures of them. There are 2 kind of optical systems, JACKM08, 2ch module for HDTV and JACKM10 for AG-HVX200. For further more technical information, please contact MR. Sugimura. info@jackal-tech.co.jp and please see his company`s home page,( http://www.jackal-tech.co.jp/english/flame/eng_home.htm) This system designed by Mr. Iimura who is a steadicam operator in Japan. Check them out!

Sounds like the Telecast Rattler Rattler Rattlers are a great way of providing a HD-SDI monitoring feed off the camera.
