He was hard mounted, rolling in Don Juan in front of some players walking down the fairway. It looked like a PRO2 rig with an LCD, and definately a PRO arm. This seemed like a great application for the hands free transporter. If the operator is out there, I'm sure there is some interest in hearing some details from this shoot. He does have the PRO arm and the Klassen Vest. The handsfree is the XT and he has the klassen Hard-mount. (which is very nice) Unfortunately - Simon like most of my clients is so busy and never visits here. next time I speak to him I will ask him to post. Hope this is some help. I got to meet and work with Simon last month here in Philadelphia and he was a cool fella. He mentioned to me he sort of stopped visiting the forum regularly when things got so negative over the past years. [and, sadly, I assume this happened with more then a few people] I hope Simon visits the forum again someday? It is nice to have another international voice? but it is also cool to hear from someone who does steadicam on big live broadcasts on a regular basis. Throw in doing it off a segway/Handsfree, and I am sure he has lots to offer our lil? steadicam forum. And Simon, when you do read this, my brother even called me up when he was watching the British Open and he told me the steadicam on the segway was one of the coolest things he had seen. Matt Burton Posted July 25, 2007 Report Share Posted July 25, 2007 (edited) Indeed a greate shame some of the more experianced opps feel this way, I have only been around for a few years but have witnessed my fair share of nastyness and thoughless comments on this forum. I might add that 90% of posts are written with only the best of intent, and only a small percent seem to have some 'other' kind of agenda. My view on this is that the genuine comunity should rise against the 'others' and put this forum back on track. When people stop posting it only serves to censor the comunity and this puts out a bad image of us all.
